Athlete Connections & Relationships

Learn more about how the relationship works between an athlete, an organisation, and Scouters.

MVP Analytics has been built to help athletes to unlock their potential.

Everything revolves around the free athlete profile that an athlete sets up as part of the onboarding process.

Athletes can view their own data, access educational information, and manage their accounts. Part of that management includes "connection" requests. An athlete can "connect" with their own team to allow collaboration on their account.

In very easy terms, the athlete owns all their own data. And as such, they have ultimate control over it and their profile. This is why all athletes need to have accepted your connection request to be fully activated and available for you as a coach/organisation.

Organisations have access to the data in its entirety and can enter, delete and adjust data for analytics purposes until the athlete either "breaks" a connection with you or contacts us to delete their data from the system.

This connection between athletes is always appropriate for scouting, friend requests with peers and other situations like parental access.

Essentially each player has their own "passport" and as such can take this with them when they leave your organisation (ie) a school leaver, and take it to their next stage of athlete development (club/University).
