Making my Athlete Profile Public

Modified on Fri, 17 Jun, 2022 at 10:46 AM

A short article explaining what making your profile public means for you.

Right now making yourself a public profile means you will make your data available to your connections and for the purpose of an "at an event" live dashboard.

You will have allowed this during your onboarding but it can be adjusted below

SCOUTING COMING SOON

Making your profile public means it will appear in a search that scouts make, these scouts can be from any institution across the world.

Scouts can search across the database to try and find the best athletes who use MVP Analytics, they won't see your personal details such as name, date of birth, school/sports club and your contact details.

MVP Analytics are not part of any decision-making process made by clubs when scouting for athletes. Please keep all communication between the club and yourself.

They can see your performance results and will send you a request if they would like to find out more.

You will get a notification if a scout is interested, you can view the club and the level they perform at before choosing to accept or decline.

If you accept you can see more details of the club who are interested and they will be able to see your contact details so they can get in touch about a trial!

If you decline they will receive notification of your decision and it will be added to your list of declined clubs.

Even if your profile is private it will still be visible to coaches inside the institutes you are an athlete at currently.
