What happens when I cancel my account if I am a coach/admin?

If you still would like to cancel we have made it very simple. Just follow the steps below. 


Cancelling your account


Step 1

Navigate to your upgrade page.

Follow the instructions choosing the appropriate option that suits your circumstances. 


What happens to the data when you cancel


Once you cancel your account you will no longer be charged anything to access your account. 

We will leave your account "dormant" so you can still access all your historical data and perform simple analysis tasks for no charge. 

Your data will continue to be held in servers managed to the highest level of security (Microsoft).

In terms of payment methods and sensitive information, we never hold or view any of your details. Everything is handled by our payment provider stripe so you can be assured of complete privacy. 


 What can I do in the account after cancellation?


As we mentioned above your account will remain open for you to view and export all your historical data. What you won't be able to do is do anything new (ie) create new events or create new reports, invite new athletes, create groups etc. 

We feel that this is the fairest way of doing things. If you wish to export your data just follow the steps here. 


How do I restart my subscription?


Your account is dormant after cancellation, but there may be a reason that you would like to start up your account again. 

It is a very simple process. Just navigate to your upgrade section and click start a subscription and re-add your payment details.

Is there an option to export and delete all the data


To export your data you can do this from within your account whether it is live or dormant. 

Just head to the data and reports you would like to export by navigating to your analytics section. Then follow the instructions below. 


Step 1

Roll over the table you wish to export and you will see three dots. Click that.

Then select "export data" as below

Step 3

Then simply choose your options and click export. You can do this for any table you wish.

What happens to the athletes on your account


All the athletes on your account have their own free account with all their data in it. That remains with them as an "athletic passport" as long as they wish to have it regardless of the school/club/university they are attending at the time. If their new organisation has MVP Analytics they can easily transfer this across to their account by accepting a connection request from the new organisation. Read more here
